RSL Queensland 2023 Annual Report
RSL Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation that provides services and programs to support veterans and their families. I was engaged to write the content for their 2023 Annual Report, which was produced and released in 2024.
The brief for the copy was to impactfully showcase the brand vision and progress on implementing their Strategic Plan, while reinforcing their credentials as Australia’s leading ex-service organisation, all through a storytelling-first approach.
I undertook interviews with the Board Executive and Executive Management Team, liaised with other heads of departments, and reviewed countless videos and articles to draw on veterans’ stories to support the writing of the full report.
Working closely with the Managing Editor and General Manager – Marketing and Communications, we produced an annual report that captures the organisation’s extensive work across the year and tells the story of how the lives of veterans and their families are being positively impacted.
